Money That Melts: An Economy With a Seasonal Currency

What if money lost value the way food does? The thesis runs a two-year experiment with a station currency that melts a little every month, and reports what people did with it: they spent it sooner, lent it more freely, and hoarded other things instead. The results are set against the theory of demurrage and the folklore of the ice.
