The Archive of the Unsent: Letters Written at the Station and Never Posted
About the thesis
In a drawer of the station’s oldest hut were nine hundred letters, written over sixty years and never sent. The thesis catalogues them, reads them, and asks what it means to write to someone with no intention of their ever reading it. It argues that the unsent letter is a form of its own, with a history as long as the post.
