A Law for the Commons of the Night Sky
About the thesis
Who owns the dark? Satellite constellations are brightening a sky that belongs to nobody and everybody. The thesis asks what a law of the night sky would look like, drawing on the law of the sea, the law of the air and the customs of the observatories, and proposes a treaty text short enough to be read aloud in one sitting.
